how to regain the "stop download" option in the context menu when watching youtube videos online
In previous versions of firefox, there was an option in the context menu (right click) to "stop download" when watching youtube video's online. Now, with firefox 22.0 that option is not available, so that once you start watching a video online, there is now way to stop the download/streaming. How do I correct this?

Hello,
I don't think this was ever a feature of Firefox. It was an option in YouTube that has now been removed from the YouTube website.
However I have found some instructions that show how to install a bookmarklet or userscript to get the option back. See here:

However I've not tested this and cannot guarantee that it will work or that it is safe.
I hope that helps.
@eddyc: Thank you very much for the info. Tried to install the bookmarklet on firefox, but it is incompatible with version 22.0
Due to the fact that I'm technologically impeded (read: "totally confused with regards to computers"), the userscript is not an option for me.
As this is not a very urgent matter for me, I'll just live with the changes made by YouTube.
Hi,
You can try the BookMarklet available here: [Solved: How-To Get Back the Missing YouTube Stop Download Option?
It has been successfully tested on Firefox.
