Sometimes the profile pics in Facebook are disappeared. I deleted cookies and I tried from a Live DVD with Kubuntu 13.10 but the issue insists.

I am working with Kubuntu. This issue happens very often the last days and works correct after some time by itself. After, it happens again etc. This issue happens even in safe mode (of Firefox) and when I try the Live DVD with Kubuntu 13.10

Hi Wild shark,

It might be a bug.

Leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. (You'll need to be on the latest version of Firefox to submit feedback). Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.

Reply if this helped ! Thanks!

If you use extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Flash Block, Ghostery) then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

  • Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the hidden "Menu Bar" temporarily.
  • Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
  • Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
  • Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
  • If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a check-mark then remove this check-mark to unblock images from this domain.

Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.

Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Edit > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Note that these settings affect background images.

There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

All of these settings are ok. The problem is that this issue happens randomly. Also it happens only in Kubuntu even if I try to use the LIVE DVD (13.10 last version) and with Firefox (and Opera). With Chrome I didn't noticed this issue. Also this issue happens even after safe mode restart of Firefox.

Thanks for your help.
