Hello, I don't think that feature is currently available in Firefox for desktops but you could post your feedback here to ensure that it gets to the correct team and they will consider implementing it: https://input.mozilla.org/en-GB/feedback In the meantime you might be interested in using a decluttering add-on which can remove distracting side columns etc from the article or main purpose of the page.
