when i click on firefox it shows its loading and then stops with no screen popping up
I went to use firefox today and well nothing happens when I click on it for some reason, it worked fine yesterday and I have no idea what happened , I click on it on my desktop, it shows its loading on the bottom bar and then stops , nothing pops up, no screen no error messages

You are running Windows 7, correct?

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
