hello GlasEye, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by malware on your pc. please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware

Hello GlasEye,

this are advertising sites wich you can only block with a "adblock" add-on. You can download and install this add-on here (https://addons.mozilla.org). Please notice that you install this add-on at your own risk and this add-on can´t stop every spam advertising site. Before downloading this add-on, be sure that you deleted your old add-ons and cleaned your cookies.

Do not hesitate to contact us further.

Hello ..., I have this problem too. First I have delete in Firefox Start "C:\Users\Juergen\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" the spam URL after the command. Second I have a further problem with the same URL if I open a new Tab. The spam homepage appears. I have not solved this this problem. Best Regards Jürgen

hey jürgen, my same advice would apply to your situation. basically first look into your extensions and remove all suspicious entries & then run a scan for malware with the tools mentioned.
