Youtube freezing and not loading

I've been having this issue for the past few weeks now. I can play videos on youtube and other website normally without any issue. The problem arises when I try to enter full screen with the video. A few seconds after I have it in full screen, the video will stop and the audio to the video will revert back about 5 to 7 seconds ago. I can not tell when or why it does it, only its only when the video is in full screen. Also, it seems that its affecting my history in youtube as well. Videos I just watched will not appear in the history video location on the website. This problem only happened when I started using Firefox. Has anyone else faced similar issues? If so, have they been able to fix them? It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help

I suspect that Youtube might be changing the resolution when you go into full screen, which requires the player to request a different stream. Does it make any difference if you click the gear button and increase the resolution before going to full screen? For example, does the problem happen then without going into full screen, or does it make the transition smoother?

Do you use any Youtube or Flash related extensions, such as video downloaders or Youtube Center? Although most users don't have problems with these add-ons individually, they might sometimes conflict with one another in unexpected ways. To test whether extensions are a factor, you could experiment with Youtube in Firefox's Safe Mode. That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled (Flash still runs)

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?
