Firefox update not working.
When trying to update a users Firefox by going to Firefox -> Help -> About Firefox, it comes back saying that the current version is up to date. Now this has happened on multiple machines each running a different version. Some are running 24.X.X and other are running 25.X.X but the most recent version is 26.0.0????? Why does it says that firefox is up to date.

If there are problems with updating then download and save the full Firefox installer to the desktop and start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon.
You can find the full version of the current Firefox 26.0 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
There isn't a problem updating I just think its stupid that Firefox says its update when it clearly isn't. I don't want to have to go to every users computer and uninstall the outdated version and reinstall the most recent. It should just require an update which clearly Firefox does not like to see. See attached image, clearly I'm on update 25.0.2 and yet it says that I'm up to date. This has to be an issue with Mozilla.....
There is a problem with updating if Firefox doesn't find an update when you aren't running the latest version (26.0).
It is possible that security software is blocking this request or that there is a problem with generating the link to check for updates.
You can use the Live Http Headers extension to see the request and server response of the check for updates.
