at top of address bar in the drop down menu i see pages i've visited. i like to keep these to a shortlist of say 10 of my most visited sites which means i want to DELETE some in the list regularly like in internet explorer. but there's no red 'x' to delete anything so i'm stuck with the one's that are there. please don't insult me by sending me a totally irrelavent link as microsoft would do

被選擇的解決方法

Use these steps to remove saved data from a drop-down list:

  1. highlight an entry in the drop-down list
  2. press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

Note that items that have a highlighted star are bookmarks and you need to remove the bookmark.
Items that you typed or copied to the location bar may be hard to remove.

If you can't remove an entry then you can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
