My email address in my Thunderbird browser is with rogers.com Recently they made some sedurity changes and I can no longer send email from my Thunderbird browser. Since Rogers does not recognize Thunderbird they can not give me the info needed to reset.

Server settings are generic, and do not depend on a particular email client. Check with Rogers what the correct settings are. Tell them you use Outlook if that helps.
Then compare that with your Thunderbird server settings.

Rogers gave me a server name and port numbers for incoming and outgoing but it`s still not working

incoming server name pop.broadband.rogers.co, port 995 SSL

outgoing smtp.broadband.rogers.com port 465 SSL

normal password
