Hello there, I recently ran into trouble using Firefox Sync on my office computer. The only solution that worked was creating a new profile. It took me some time to get the same "firefox" with the same buttons, toolbars and settings that cannot be synced, but at least, I could recover the syncing features. Today again, I've noticed sync was not working on my office computer (I'm not sure about my personal laptop) though sync server status is OK. Then I tried to configure sync on another computer and got this message "Échec de la connexion au serveur" (yep, in french... In english, it should look like this : "Failed to connect to server") right after entering username, password AND encryption key... Another detail : I don't have logs in the weave folder.

I made a little mistake when configuring Sync on my other office computer (a Macbook) and it works now, like with my personal Macbook. But unfortunately, the problem remains on my office computer running Windows 7 and I cannot afford creating a new profile each time I run into such problem ;(
