Update fails, apparently in post-refresh hook with the symlinks in /var/snap/firefox/common/snap-hunspell/ pointing to non-existent files in a non-existent directory (e.g. to /snap/firefox/5701/usr/share/hunspell/en_US.aff where /snap/firefox/5701/ does not exist).

A thunderbird update (128.6.0esr->128.6.1esr) fails very similarly.

I used snap to update manually in order to see error messages:

Hello.

Re: Bookmark/Edit Bookmark... right click context menu spaces

How can I reduce the spaces for the context menu for Bookmark/Edit Bookmark... A bookmark right click menus are reduced already, however the Edit Bookmark... opens up then right click the menus (Undo, Redo, etc)are, I think, in the original wider spaces. Currently my userChrome.css is as follow to reduce spaces, /* Tighten up drop-down/context/popup menu spacing */ menupopup:not(.in-menulist) > menuitem, menupopup:not(.in-menulist) > menu {padding-block: 0px !important; min-height: 0pix !important;}

root {--arrowpanel-menuitem-margin: 0px 8px !important; --arrowpanel-menuitem-padding: 0px 8px !important;}

Regards,

I upgraded to Firefox 135.0 the other day and tried it out on a site I have used several times a week for at least 10 years. A .csv file that I regularly download failed to do so. The system simply failed to respond, and nothing appeared in the download window. The site offers the option of downloading the same data in a .xls file, and that worked. (My previous, obsolete, Firefox gave me the option of where to download to, and remembered the choice between vists. Such is progress!)

I'm using Firefox Developer Edition v136.0b5, and I'm looking for a way to remove “Turn on Vertical Tabs” from the contextual menu, because I'm so used to reopening a tab by clicking on what was then the last item in the list, that every time I end up with vertical tabs lol.

Today I've noticed some horizontal lines on youtube videos. Upon further investigation, I've traced it to a single div element:

The base64 encoded image is the lines I'm seeing.

Initially after starting a new private session and navigating straight to youtube.com I had no lines. Then in that private session same element doesn't have an image:

What's odd about this is if I opened a private window and copy pasted the same video URL I would get the lines. After testing multiple times I started getting the lines even after navigating straight to youtube.com.

So I did another test: changed my IP with a VPN in a private session. Navigated straight to youtube.com, watched multiple videos without any lines. Then I logged in to my account and boom, the lines are back...

Opening the same video on google chrome browser I get a smooth gradient line image:

The browser is functioning as intended, but youtube is intentionally making their website unusable. What the f###? I have youtube premium, adblocker disabled on their website.
