I have Firefox browser and ATT internet and email. I was unable to load email today until I spoke with live ATT tech support. He instructed me in clearing cache and cookies, had me open a private window, then asked me to open another window. He did get my ATT email restored, but when I had 2 windows open I accidentally closed my main window which had many pinned tabs and other tabs I wished to get to. Yes, too many tabs! So I have a new browser which does not have the configuration I want which is the one I had when I first called ATT. So I made a mistake and closed the wrong browser, I knew it as it happened but it was too late, I guess speaking with and listening to the tech messed up my concentration. I have made this mistake before and closed the wrong browser but fumbling around somehow I managed to recover the browser I wanted, I don't remember how exactly. I think it has been a couple of years since I screwed up this way. The History section of my Firefox menu does not offer a selection called 'restore previous session' that the instruction page shows, the only options at the top are Recently closed tabs, Recently closed windows, Search history. Then a bar followed by Clear Recent history, then today's history in the new browser. So I only get history from today's new browser. I am old and not tech savvy there is a lot of terminology I do not understand, I need a kindergartner's step by step instruction on this I am afraid, in clear English. I am afraid to do things like refresh or reinstall without knowing what I am doing. I appreciate your help. I use desktop Firefox for email, reading items of interest, social media, ordering merch. Same as previous users over the last 6-12months. I've tried just about everything.

Intermittent no sound on streams unless you refresh or change stream resolution (which i imagine refreshes the stream).

This only occurs on Twitch using FF, other browsers work fine.

The icons in the bookmarks toolbar are desatured compared to the icons shown in tab bar (e.g. WhatsApp). The problem only occurs on Windows. Is there any way to fix this?

So, in MS Edge key strokes Ctrl + Tab move through all open tabs in that browser! Firefox has a mouse wheel up/down, but that fails to "REFRESH" tabs! So, how do I "Peruse through tabs with key strokes"?

Recently Firefox has been randomly crashing the past 3 weeks multiple times, Is anyone else having this odd issue ? I'll be watching a stream or youtube video and bam out of no where the Browser goes black for like 20 or 30 seconds then crashes. I sent in about 3 crash reports and wondering if the Firefox team is aware of this issue.

Firefox advised of an update yesterday 10 November which was undertaken.

Now cannot access firefox and get advised entry point not fouind and second window advises "couldn't load XPCOM.

Have tried full reset etc but to no avail.

I am using Firefox 132 on Debian 12 and when I set the permission"store data in persistent storage" to block it will change to its default state of 'always ask"

i expect when the change is made it should remain unchanged. Why is this change occurring?

the spacing when i click the search bar and the suggestions show up is waaay too big. it just randomly happened and i don't have a userChrome.css file. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Are there any settings in Win.10 that prevents me from enabling DNS over HTTPS in FF settings? It says my browser is managed by my organization. I checked about:config, dns over https = true, & security.enterprise_roots.enabled = true FF Connection settings = Auto-detect proxy settings. Thanks

I've recently migrated from an Intel based mac to an arm based mac. Firefox was working ok, until I rebooted. Now all of the tabs, address bar, shortcuts, and worst: everything in all of the preferences pages is in some weird font that's completely unreadable. The actual web pages are ok. This is really bad? How can I fix this, especially given that nothing in the preferences pages is intelligible?

With the old, or at least older, release, when I logged in to a site using my password I could either save the password or use a drop down to never save. The "never save" used to work, it doesn't now or I'm missing something that will give me the opportunity to choose which passwords I can save and which I want to "never save". Please clarify - am I doing something wrong?

I'm having trouble with the current file Explorer being overlayed with a old file Explorer and a comment 'firefox symbol and word file upload'. This is happening while I'm trying to insert a document file into a online web page for a doctor. When I click the insert button on page that is when the Explorer is failing as noted above. I use a program called Beat Buddy Manager Online (https://bbmo.singularsound.com/) Currently, it does not work in my preferred browser (Firefox).

Please create a new version of the browser app that supports the ability to use FileSystemAPI on directories, this is essential for working with a BeatBuddy project and SD cards that are saved on my computer using the online editor.

I like to keep my bookmarks on the left side of the page. About a week or so ago I did a refresh on my FF due to another issue. So, after that was done I went through and looked at my settings and made the changes to get back to my previous choices. Now when I sign onto FF it opens up to a blank page, which I chose it to do, but my bookmarks are not on the left side. I have to click on my tool bar to put them there and also adjust the width of the size. Before I did the refresh the bookmarks would remain on the start page unless I had closed them before I signed off. I signed on using my wife's profile and the bookmarks remain on the start up "blank" page like they've always done. I did notice on her settings page that the option to always check to make sure FF was the default browser was "not" checked. I went back to my profile settings and the same box "was" checked for the FF default checking but it's shadowed out and I can't change it. I do have my "old" profile data saved if needed. How do I fix this issue where my bookmarks on the left side of the start up page "stays" that way when I close out and the next time I sign on they are still there?

I have "Don't enable HTTPS-Only Mode" selected and still cannot connect to local sites. Example http://192.168.1.81 is chnaged to https://192.168.1.81 and rrecive cannot connect message.

This problem started after you last week after an update.
