Using FF 43.0 - Add ons keep disappearing
Both my desk top and laptop have recently been experiencing all my add-ons being removed.
Not sure as to why this is occurring. Both computers are synced.
Each time i re- install my add-ons, I find on the next session they are again removed.
Can someone provide a solution, otherwise I might be better off going back to Internet explorer.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created when required.
See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end of the Search bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also delete possible addons.json and addons.sqlite files.
You can also check for problems with preferences.
I will try your suggestion.
However why am I having this issue on two different computers?
Could the syncing be causing the problem?
Yes disable on all for now
After a couple days of trouble free use, the problem has resumed.
Attached image shows todays startup, which requests to install (re-install) my add ons.
I have disconnected syncing between my two computers.
I am struggling to understand what the issue is.
No new programs have been installed on either computers yet this issue started simultaneously.
Did you had Sync disabled when this happened or did you disable Sync afterward?
You can try to exclude extensions from Sync for a while to to see if that has effect. If it happens simultaneously on multiple devices then this is likely a problem with Sync.

Shut down sync until the issue is solved. On all computers, do as instructed here; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1099102#answer-817907

Disabled Sync after the add-ons disappeared.
