I'm trying to set up my new PC and want to use Firefox as default browser. Went to my account on Deezer but when I try to play anything I'm told I need Flash Player. When I try to download Flash Player, I'm told "Can't find javascript".

Javascript is enabled by default, as shown on Firefox.

Deezer plays OK in Chrome.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

  • make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

There is Tracking Protection that can block (wanted) content.

You can download and save the Flash installer to your desktop and close Firefox before starting the installation with a double-click.

You can download the latest Flash player plugin for Firefox on this page.

Thanks very much. I tried the tracking protection idea but that made no difference. I then downloaded the Flash installer with Firefox closed and installed it. Then I could enable the plug-in in Firefox and everything just worked.
