Firefox has been wonderful up to this afternoon. Then suddenly it gave me an error message that it was 'unable to connect. ' The laptop thinks it fully connected wirelessly to the Homehub. I have been in touch with BT who got me online with IE and say the problem is with Firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and am still getting the message that it is unable to connect. Please help! PS Firefox is working perfectly on my desk top.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Brilliant! I'm properly back on line - it was the firewall that had suddenly decided to block Firefox. I don't know why this happened, but the fix was simple and straightforward! Thanks a lot!!!
