I found out i have no wy to move my firefox chaching out of my ssd drive into my other drives. Now I simply WILL not use firefox untill you quit behaving like an american major company. How can this propblem be solved? I have no issues with HOW you store the data because blocking access on youtube .flv files and such is not a issue for me and I do buy my preferred music online. However I have a feeling you will loose a ton of ssd users when people start getting the glue of how exactly much ssd usage firefor currently causes. I checked and the access presentace if humbling.. :) :)

You can set a custom Cache directory by tweaking your preferences. See the article here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.cache.disk.parent_directory

You can also disable the disk cache entirely and cache things in memory instead (see the "browser.cache.disk.enable" preference).

You can also install the portable Firefox 6.0.x version.

In that version the disk cache is disabled.
