could you go to the firefox menu New Fx Menu > help Help-29 > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

maybe that's an issue with hardware acceleration - please try updating your graphics drivers, or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu New Fx Menu > options > advanced > general.
