uh oh, i changed the url at "about:config" to make Mozilla's new tab always be goodnewsnetwork. Didn't actually want that as I like to click on a new tab and have my most used sites right there in tiles. How can I get that back? What is the url for that? And I'll put it back .

thanks much!

Chosen solution

You can modify the browser.newtab.url pref on the about:config page and either reset the pref to its default value about:newtab or set another page like the about:blank page.
