When I am using Cam4.com everytime the page changes a outside advertising website starts. How can I block that webcam chat page from continuously opening up.
I notice that when I am using Internet Explorer 8 the page doesn't keep re-opening ... it maybe opens once but after I close it ... it doesn't open again and again and again...... :) any help would be great

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Actually the bothersome webpage that keeps popping up is a regular website offering social interacting via webcam and such. I don't think it would be concidered spyware or a popup ad. and i don't mind turning them down once and closing the page ... but now everytime I an act is done like switching to chat with another person as usual the offending webpage flys up in my face over and over again... I hope this helps clarify the situation better so you and your honorable colleagues can help little old learning as I go me... :) Thanks
