Beta 34: firefox 56 shows in finder, not firefox, same in dock, firefox not showing on desk top

Firefox no longer shows in Finder, Dock, or Desktop. It does show in open at log in under Preferences. Firefox 56 shows in Dock. Happened since latest upgrade Beta 34. I don't know what the "56" means. How can I fix this. Thank you.

Chosen solution

Update: Firefox 34 beta disappeared from my computer completely. I ended up downloading version 33 and all seems okay now. Still have no idea what happened.
