The question is correct as stated on my windows desktop. Can't uninstall program or replace with new. It also states I don't have admin right to uninstall. Although when I try to open Fox fire it states Fox fire already running but not responding. the old foxfire process must be closed to open new window so I close it and then get the message. Your foxfire cannot be loaded either its profile is missing or inaccessible. I can't add image or get Trouble shooting results

You can try to delete the parent.lock file in the Firefox profile folder.

  • %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

The "AppData" folder in Windows Vista and later Window 7+ versions and the "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K are hidden folders.

Do you have the Firefox icon on your quick launch? Right click on it, and select Open New Window. Sometimes this works. If it opens, close it by Menu > File > Exit.
