WHY CAN'T MOZILLA LET PEOPLE KEEP THE BROWSER VERSION THEY WANT? NOW I CANNOT GET MY ''PROFILE BACK".
TODAY. Feb.18.2015 is 25 days since I enjoyed MOZILLA 26.0 Version and I committed the mistake of clicking: "REFRESH FIREFOX" ever since then it has been hell. I trusted MOZILLA like one would trust his mother and more than the Bank. After years and years of having MOZILLA as the default browser, now is all crap. There is no MOZILLA or person to represent MOZILLA to look into the issue. The feeling may be described as being mugged by surprise. MOZILLA does not warn in advance what the consequences are if one CLICKS: "REFRESH FIREFOX". It only says that MOZILLA will save all passwords, bookmarks, history, etc... in a PROFILE. It does not say what happens when a new PROFILE IS STARTED. It also does not say that by "REFRESH FIREFOX' the browser is updated without asking. And MOZILLA does not offer a simple 1,2,3 download easy fix to incorporate back, re-integrate, retrieve or restore: the previous PROFILE.!!!!!! ONE had before. All one gets is like being thrown to the lions in the coliseum like the early christians, being up for grabs to find out from computer tech specialist to fix the issues or problem. And so far no information found in Google Search, You Tube, or Computer Technicians, and now MOZILLA SUPPORT have turned out anything to fix the problem. The feeling is as if someone had money saved in the Bank, there is no way to get it, or someone says one cannot get it, and one needs money and has no money. I guess it might be productive to write this story and send it to the New Papers and blogs online.

hello, is this a request for support or do you just want to leave feedback? in the latter case please use https://input.mozilla.org/feedback instead, which will be monitored by mozilla's staff. the support forum is primarily frequented by volunteers and other firefox users willing to help...
Did you sync before you update it?
Mozilla doesn't "mug" their users - they watch out for you like your mother did, by attempting to prevent you from doing something stupid like disabling automatic security updates and leaving yourself open to recently discovered security faults. And the sad thing is that you don't even realize that Mozilla is "looking out for you". It is your choice to change your preference, but don't blame Mozilla for that being the default and you not remembering that you set that preference ... along with not reading the support article about what the Refresh does.
That "Refresh" reset your preference for disabling the automatic update feature for Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings At the bottom - These items and settings will be removed: ... modified preferences ...
You changed / modified a preference to turn off the automatic updates to stay on that old version, so after the Refresh that preference is now back to the default value!
