How do I keep Firefox from opening a new web page when I try to print?

I just got a new computer. On my old one, when I pressed "print," it would just show the pop-up for the printer (i.e., the orientation of the paper, the number of copies, etc). Now, it opens a new web page with the print preview, where I can click on lots of different tabs at the top, like "print," "page setup," "portrait," etc. I really don't want that page to open, though, because it's not necessary, and very irritating to have to go back and close it. Can you please tell me how to turn off this function, like Firefox was on my old computer? Thanks!

That is the "Print Preview." Check the printer settings.

Your old PC must have been running a real old version of Firefox. Firefox 29 was when a change was made where the Print button would open the Print Preview.

If you want to see the Print dialog box and bypass the Preview - hit { Crtl + P } instead of using the Print toolbar button.
