I just did set up my breogan52@gmail.com by inputting the settings that I have in other mail clients without problems for more than 10 years but, after opening the account, if I do click in breogan52@gmail to request to get new mails, the mail window gets frozen as well as the screen so I need to re-start the MacBook Pro any time.

This doesn't happen with the other email account, 5991562@uwclub.net.

I am concerned now about to set the other accounts...

The settings are (as in all the other mail clients):

Name: vriatovigo Email address breogan52@gmail.com Server information:

               Incoming mail: imap.gmail.com Port 993
               Outgoing mail: smtp.gmail.com Port 465

This server requires a secure connection (SSL)

I think this has to do with Gmails "security" implementation. If you set your gmail account up ON THE SERVER using webmail to accept less secure app. See Question: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1084182
