Hi All, I'm running FF 42 on Win10. See attached pic. As you can see my FF tabs have the website icon but no text. How can this be fixed?

Yesterday I successfully installed the big Win10 version 1511 upgrade update. Could this be the cause of the problem? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks,

OK, I discovered that the problem happens when I run Firefox in Sandboxie. I always use Sandboxie. I posted the problem on the Sandboxie forum.

Anyone else here have this problem? Thanks,

Hmm, that's odd. If you mouse over the background tabs, does the text paint in, or does it only appear on the one active tab in the window?

Mouseover does nothing; tab stays blank except for the icon. Text only appears on the active tab. Ever seen this problem? Any ideas? If nothing else I'm hoping the next version of FF will fix it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Does any text show if you install a lightweight theme (Persona)?
