When i do shift-click on www.stern.de not only a new tab with the linked page opens, but the original page is clicked too, so that i have the same link opened in two tabs.

I also experience that issue on that website as well, but this is the only website that this appears to occur on.

For this reason, there is probably an issue with the website's codes. Please advise the website's development team about the issue.

In the meantime, please note that you can click links with the scroll wheel or middle mouse button and it will also open the link in a new tab without navigating in the original tab.
