Dear Sirs I have big problems with compatibility Firefox and Kaspersky Internet Security. I have Win 10 Home x 64 OS instelled and while i use Windows security tools (Windows Defender and Windows Firewall) i have no problems. When i install Kaspersky Internet Security i can't access at most popular web site such as Google, Facebook, Youtube, etc.. I can surf by internet except those few most popular sites. Previously i had Windows 8.1 Home x64 installed and I did not have any problems with compatibility Firefox and Kaspersky Internet Security. I noted when i disable Kaspersky for a while that everything is normal. With Microsoft Edge i have not such problems, everything is right, but Edge isn't my option. What do I do? I just can uninstall Kaspersky but i had spent enough money for Kaspersky and that isn't option. Maybe about:config can help?

Please, answer me shortly because i an mad because of that.

Best regards

If the certificate is issued by your Kaspersky security software then you have two options:

You can find "(fake)Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate.cer" in this folder:

  • "C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP16.0.0\Data\Cert"

When prompted, place a tick on "Trust this CA to identify websites" trust bit to make the imported certificate work as a trusted root certificate to trust websites. Note that trust bits should only be set for a trusted root certificate and never for intermediate certificates.

I simple disable scanning secure connections in Kaspersky, how you tell me and my problem is gone. Although, when i disable scanning secure connections then i lose Safe Money possibility but, if i would need this, i will simple temporary enable scanning secure connections.

Thank you for your fast help.

Did you try to import the Kaspersky Fake certificate in the Firefox Certificate Manager like I wrote above?

No, i didn't. But i have installed new 16.0.1.445 version instead of 16.0.0.614 (d) (which was the cause of my problems) and I have no more any problems with certificate and encrypted connections. It were problems with compatibility between Win 10 and old Kaspersky version. Problem has solved with last version.
