I have been unable to download messages since April 16. I believe this is when TB was updated.

I temporarily disabled my antivirus and did the addon related to Logjam.

Still cannot download messages. What now?

I had this problem with version 45. Thunderbird update changed some of my incoming Account Preferences. With the help of my ISP IT tech, we got TB-45 to download messages. Now the headers are all downloaded, but often hangs on one header and will not display the message. I can delete some messages by reading the email header in the Inbox section, bu I still do not see the message.

So here is one solution and another question.

Do you mean post a new Thread, or a new topic? It seems my post was the same topic as the one I commented on. I have gotten the 'post a new topic' on every post I comment on. I guess this forum wants every post to be a unique thread, even if on the same topic as others already posted?
