In Windows Vista, how do you get the the set up wizard after running the Thunderbird setup program (38.5.0)
I downloaded the latest version of Thunderbird for Windows Vista (38.5.0). I then ran the .exe file. It showed the extraction process going from 0% to 100%, after which a window popped up titled "Run As". My PC has no admin account nor admin password so I was unable to run it as admin. So I chose the current user (me), which has admin authorities. After clicking ok, nothing happened. According to the Thunderbird site, after clicking on OK, I should have seen the set up wizard. Any ideas how to get to the setup wizard.

Zenos - Thanks for the response. However, I am still trying to install Thunderbird on my Vista PC. I have not been able to get to the Setup Wizard, which does the actual installation.
The exe file seems to perform an extraction successfully (it gets to 100%) and , according to the documentation. the Setup Wizard (which I believe does the actual installation) is supposed to be the next screen that is seen. Instead, the "Run As" window appears and then the installation stops.
I assume that the Thunderbird exe file is a self extracting file that creates the setup wizard program. Is it possible to download the setup wizard program rather than extract it form the exe file that is downloaded. That would allow me to skip ahead and jump to the second step.

Matt - Thanks for the help. I did not have to disable my antivirus program. I only had to run the executeable as admin, which was done as you described (right clicking on the executeable and selecting "Run As administrator" from the dropdown list).
