When starting to type a link in the Awesome Bar, is there a way to autocomplete a subpage that's visited often, even bookmarked, rather than just the main page?
To be more specific, I open a specific admin page on a website very often, but never the main site as it doesn't link to anything useful.
The link looks something like: n53.sitename.com/admin.php
Despite being the only page I ever visit on that site, whenever I start typing "n" in the awesome bar, n53.sitename.com is autocompleted. I want it to autocomplete the link to the admin.php page. I assumed this would take some time and a few visits to that link entered manually before the bar will start suggesting the correct link I use, but it hasn't happened yet.
I have even bookmarked the page in the hope it will be suggested first, and while it shows in suggestions list, it doesn't autocomplete. I know I can type "n", press right arrow, and then type "a" and it will autocomplete the correct website, or just click the first suggestion, I don't want to have to do this. Surely there's a way to get this to work?
Edit: I thought I would add, I have tried deleting other entries with ctrl+delete, deleting history, etc. I believe this issue is related to the fact that it is a subpage I am trying to access.

I think it has worked this way since Firefox 3. Hard to remember!
You could take a look at this add-on, but it may not be possible to update it for Firefox 57+: Enter Selects.

You can add a keyword to a bookmarked page to be able to quickly access this page. You can do that in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) in the details pane at to bottom right (click More to see this item).
Items that you see in the location/address bar drop-down list are ordered automatically via an algorithm name frecency (bonus based combination of frequently and recently). There is no way to order items manually.
Hey - thanks for the reply. This still doesn't autocomplete the correct link. But I do understand there is no way to order things manualy. I was just hoping after having visited the subpage so many times, that eventually it will be autocompleted properly
The address that appears in gray in the URL bar itself as you type is always just the top level host name, not a specific page on the site. That will never change over time.
Specific full URLs should appear on the autocomplete drop-down. I usually type a couple characters, press the down arrow key and then Enter to load that frequently visited matching result on the drop-down without having to switch to the mouse.
Oh, I see. Is this intentional? Do you know why - security concern or somehting else?
I've recently switched from Chrome and it works perfectly on there with specific full URLs. I guess I can use the drop down as a workaround, but it's just one of those habits I'll have to adjust and get used to. I like change when it's for the better, not sure in this case though

Thank you, this does the trick for now. :)
