I want to delete messages that are in the send later box

more options

I wrote an email off line and clicked send later rather than save as draft. I would like to edit it but can't find it. Is there any way to either delete this message or edit it?

Go to the Local Folders account and look in the Outbox.

Thanks! That saved me!

Reply was helpful to me too.

It's a bit shocking that Ctl-Shift-Enter (during composition with Write) places a message into a "secret place" with no access by TBird GUI (like an outbox folder).

This is especially true because Ctl-Shift-Enter is very, very close to Shift-Enter, which is a text editing command; I suspect neither are used a lot by many folks, so, easy to mix them up... ouch.

My mistake: I careless went to my

C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\izubhb35.default\Mail\Local Folders

and started hacking,

instead of simply navigating to "Local Folders", "Outbox" as user Airmail instructed.
