Firefox 57 does not display Qualtrics surveys correctly.

I'm not sure why but Firefox 57 is not showing my Qualtrics surveys correctly. It appears to strip design and some functionality of the survey. I'm not sure what is going on.

Anybody has an Idea? Maybe JavaScript not working correctly?

Below is the link to a copy of the survey. https://umiami.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ez0BlAFS8NMfHDv

Thank You, Ben

I see no faults in the page myself.

I am running Firefox 57 Final Release the issue could be that your still running a Beta or RC version.

Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved.

Firefox Final 57 Release https://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Mozilla-Firefox-for-Windows/1032985422/1 It will be available from the Mozilla Servers tomorrow as a update and full version.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block (wanted) content (e.g. Adblock Plus, NoScript, Ghostery, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block (wanted) content.

  • make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Clear the cache:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Hello,

Thank You, for the troubleshooting step. I did uninstall the beta Firefox and installed the non-beta one as Pkshadow instructed me to do. I have no extension installed, refreshed Firefox, cleared cache and tried loading the survey in safe mode. It still does the same issue.

Hopefully a screenshot will help on how it supposed to look. I think it is something new in Firefox 57 doesn't work with Qualtrics anymore.

Thank You, Ben

No problems here with the page.

This could be a problem with the stylesheet.css file.

Can you confirm in the Inspector that this file is loaded and that the background image is applied to the body?

There is something strange I'm noticing here. The survey loads fine at home but the issue arose at work. The work computers are in the school domain so maybe something with the school DNS. Something with DNS caching css stylesheets. I'm not too sure about it.

I'm going to try to flush Windows 10 dns cache with ipconfig. Maybe with this it will help.
