My Bookmark toolbar items used to appear below the address bar before the recent update . When Firefox updated , I chose restore defaults - from settings - so they disappeared , but when I tried to show them again they didn't appear . Now only an empty space appears but without any items within . How can I solve this ?

Hi, to see the bookmarks bar, right click in the tab bar (but not on a tab) and select Bookmarks Toolbar. Also see - Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window.

If that doesn't work, hold down Shift when you start Firefox to start in Safe Mode. More - Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If it works in Safe Mode, disable any theme or add-ons you have - Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A) > Themes/Extensions, then if it's OK, re-enable them one by one until you find the culprit. You may need to restart Firefox after enabling some add-ons.
