Can try this : there appears to be an issue that only affects users who have turned off cleartype font rendering within their windows settings. Hi, i look around and find that my PC have the cleartype font on (it's not off like you suggest) I don't even know that function until now. So that is not the problem. I already have on the option of sending information to mozilla, maybe is not working or is not the correct checkbox. can you tell me the exact text of the option i must activate in Mozilla to send the information you need.

Intel answer me that is a problem with Firefox.

uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Hoy encontré una versión reempacada del driver aparentemente publicada ayer:

El driver es: Intel HD Graphics 630 (23.20.16.4973)

y el archivo se llama:

2c7fee7d-d580-4023-a6aa-30040500b97f_1687dfabbefb0f1838783990b83aed445e998289.cab

Es la misma versión que da problemas pero parece ligeramente distinta. En este caso cuando se llega a los videos problemáticos el programa para por 1 o dos segundos y luego continúa y solo colapsa si se intenta reproducir dichos videos. Adjunto una captura.

Today i try with a repackaged version of the new driver published yesterday.

The Driver is: Intel HD Graphics 630 (23.20.16.4973)

It fails equally with some videos but in a different way: when you scroll over a video Firefox stops for 1 or 2 seconds and then continue but when you try to play the video it crashes.

Then i tried with a previous version (23.20.16.4944), is the latest version in the Intel webpage and it presents the exact same issue. There is the adress of some videos that causes the crash:

I attached an image that shows the messages (in spanish because that is my system language)

Apparently all the 49xx drivers crashes in the same way but the 48xx works fine.

When i disable the graphic acceleration in Firefox and scroll down in facebook command windows appear in the screen but for less than 1 second so i never can read what they said, but i assume that are problems.

Please i need your help. Firefox is the only softwares that fails with the new intel drivers, games and other browsers works fine.

Thanks for your recomendations i follow them except the ones about noscript (i know how configure it), and o must lock more about the adblocker (i like adblock plus ¿is really better ublocker?) I am really learning about windows configuration and mantenance.

About the First issue: Safe Mode - Facebook works fine but when i scroll over the videos of facebook who have problems "cmd" windows opens for a fraction of a second (sometimes i only see the frame) and are impossible to read but look abnormal.

About the second recommendation: Scanhealth:

About your third comment: Drivers version:

The drivers are the mandatory updates from Windows 10 (version 23.20.16.4973 from february). I can install any previous version but windows 10 reinstall every day the same version and is impossible to block this update (i try every procedure founded in the web but in the same pages explain that finally windows update the drivers, try wushowhide.diagcab, "Hardware updates" configuration in system windows and others). The previous driver version (founded in the intel web page) (version 23.20.16.4944) present the same problems. The version 23.20.16.4849 from december 2017 don't present any trouble. In the Intel forums indicate me that this is a problem with Firefox not with the drivers (any other browser works fine with the new drivers and the hardware acceleration on, so i must agree that Firefox looks like the cause of this problem, i read many themes in this forum of people presenting the same problem with facebook)

Again thanks for your help but for now i think that the only thing i can expect is that further versions of Firefox solve this issue. Firefox people said is an Intel problem. Intel people said is as Firefox problem. So there is an impasse.

You are a great community of people, for that and for many years of great software i am a loyal user of Firefox (with pain in my heart i am using Chrome right now to avoid problems with my video card drivers), but if you have any other ideas i follow them.

Finally i will be really thankful if you explain to me why i must change to ublocker (what are it advantages in this case?). Have a good sunday.
