Firefox for some reason accesses the "C: \ Users \ User \ AppData \ Local \ Temp \ mozilla-temp-files \" directory and writes something to the file without the "mozilla-temp-****" extension. Experienced to find out that this happens when watching videos from some sites ... Can I somehow disable / reconfigure it?

P.S .: The cache and browser profile are transferred to RAM.

Chosen solution

At the moment, changing that folder path would require the need to change Firefox, I am sorry but that is not supported.

It is possible to leave feedback from the browser menu and to file a feature enhancement. I am sorry I could not be more helpful.

Hi please give yourself a scan with https://www.malwarebytes.com/ so can eliminate any malware as the issue.

It is possible that Firefox uses this as a cache to play media files.

This location is also used for the clipboard cache. This folder should be removed when you close Firefox.

Bug 335545 - clipboardcache files are not deleted when fx exits Bug 1358964 - Temp folder is not deleted on exit

Yes that's it! Here's how to reassign the path to this folder? Is this possible?
