My browser crashes continuously. Since the 27th of June it has crashed 129 times. I followed everything written on this website page https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/Firefox%20si%20chiude%20inaspettatamente#w_ottenere-aiuto-in-relazione-al-tipo-di-crash but without any results. I tried to start Firefox in safe mode and it has seemed to work properly, so I disabled every plugins and extensions, but the problem has persisted. So I disable hardware acceleration, but without result. My notebook is update, also drivers and Windows; there aren't any viruses or malwares. bp-24fb1367-5759-408b-be7f-963221180726 (last crash ID)

HI, crashing : UserCallWinProcCheckWow

If you have a Smart Card Reader please try to update your drivers as per the information here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1218992 re ACTALIS if that is the model, if not look for driver updates please and or disconnect :

I had already installed the latest version of that driver and furthermore the smart card reader is not always connected to my pc, but only when I need it.

Hi, it maybe still the cause as it shows user32.dll (Microsoft) being the crashing files and that files associated are unsigned. Other Microsoft files being crashed are : ntdll.dll & win32u.dll

There are no Firefox files shown in the report being crashed.

Please see about going back to signed drivers, or uninstall the drivers and/or have Windows find suitable drivers for it.

I uninstalled ACTALIS driver and now Firefox seems not crash anymore, but I'm not able to use my smart card reader :-(

I've filled a bug to investigate this crash. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1480795

gabqua, can you please create a bugzilla account, and follow that bug in case the devs need any follow-up? Thank you for all the assistance so far and I'm sorry you've run into this issue
