How can I make new browser windows open in the exact same position, without shifting sideways every time?

Autistic user has difficulty with changed window position. Is there a way to have browser windows stack exactly on top of each other without using fullscreen windows, we have to use a giant HDTV for a monitor because of visual impairment and it's not practical to use fullscreen windows.

When the browser is closed, it should remember where the previous windows were set up.

Close Firefox. Open your file browser to this hidden location:

  • Mac: *~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles
  • Linux: *~/.mozilla/firefox/Profiles
  • Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
  • *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
  • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data
    \Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Search for the above files. Then rename or delete them. Restart Firefox.
