Firefox won't play any videos, except for youtube. Tried reïnstalling and turning off hardware acceleration, still nothing

Title says it all, i can't get any videos to load. On my laptop everything is fine but on my desktop it just doesn't work. I tried chrome and it seems to work on there but i prefer to keep using firefox

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins. Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Go to the web page.
