Beta version 67.0b15's 64 bit "automatic" update removed 97% of my valuable add-ons
Firefox did not warn me of the impending "automatic" DOOM (update) it was about to cast upon my work day, as it removed for the 3rd time in the last two years that took me years to finally acquire - 97% of my valuable add-ons. Hopefully your engineers will devise a highly visible alert that first warns and then provides the user an option to proceed with the listed changes its about to make (to include disabling whatever specific add-ons). And then, upon a user electing or accidentally electing to make changes, and who later changes their mind, that Firefox provides a user the option to revert back to his normal work day, by restoring the previous version and add-ons, and allows a user to turn restrict future updates (attacks on our work lives and mental health).
Next, hopefully you'll help me rewind the clock to the previous Firefox 64 bit beta version (whatever that was), and restore my previous add-ons. This help will truly help me avoid the nervous breakdown I'm starting to have. You guys really do have the power to affect people's health - and mine is suffering tremendously right now. Thanks for the help.

Hello cvmenn,
This was caused by an unforeseen technical problem …..
Please see : https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/comment-page-5/
Among other things you will see :
"Our team identified and rolled-out a temporary fix for all Firefox Desktop users on Release, Beta and Nightly. The fix will be automatically applied in the background within 24 hours. No active steps need to be taken to make add-ons work again. In particular, please do not delete and/or re-install any add-ons as an attempt to fix the issue. Deleting an add-on removes any data associated with it, where disabling and re-enabling does not."
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version?cache=no Did you update Firefox to the latest version 66.0.4 May 5, 2019
The issue is fixed.
The OP is using Firefox 67.0b15 (Beta build fifteen built late Apr 29)
Firefox 67.0 is technically newer however (67.0b15) is behind a couple of updates as the recent build is 67.0b17 (seventeen) and it may likely have the patch as the Fx 66.0.4 Release has.

No version of Firefox including the 67.0b15 was the cause as it was due to an unfortunate situation of a certificate those extensions were signed with that expired.
I received 3 replies, with the first having what appears to be first hand knowledge of events behind Firefox scenes, yet the 24 hour fix has not shown up in my system, and I did as I was instructed - to do nothing. Previous replies were amazingly instant, and welcome, as I hope the fix for my highly valued add-ons for work are forthcoming. Your response is much appreciated.
