How do I install Firefox in a different drive/volume on Windows 10? Support pages are inaccurate.
Attempting to install Firefox on my D drive.
Tried to follow these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/custom-installation-firefox-on-windows
However, they are inaccurate. The Firefox installer does not give you any options for a custom install, it just installs. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but then it just gives you the option to reinstall. I had to hunt down three different Mozilla folders and delete them to clear out the installation properly, then tried to reinstall, but it still does not give any option to custom install.

Are you using the small online stub installer or the full offline setup? As both are mentioned in the article.
The full setup for custom install is at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
You need the full Firefox installer to get the custom install choice.
You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (71.0) in all languages and all operating systems here:
The full off-line installer will allow for the Firefox program files to be installed on the D:/ drive by using the Custom: option, but the 2 Profile foldersets will end up in /roaming/AppData/ and /local/AppData/ on the drive where the operating system is installed - the C:/ drive with Windows. That is the bulk of what Firefox creates and stores.
