Email Signature Separator Doesn't Always Appear
Hi- My question is about the standard signature separator (the "--" that automatically appears above the signature to separate it from the body of the email). It works normally (automatically appears) when I'm composing a new email, but doesn't appear at all when replying to or forwarding a message. I realize this is not a big deal and that there are workarounds, but it would be nice to not have to deal with it at all. Is this a bug in the software, or is there a setting that should be changed? I've already checked both the global and account composition settings, but didn't find anything about this issue. I'm running TB 68.9.0 on Mac OSX 10.13.6 (High Sierra). Thanks for any insight you can provide.

The separator should appear if you set 'and place my signature' to 'below the quote' in the Composition & Addressing section of Account Settings. The only time the separator is omitted is when 'When quoting' is 'start my reply above the quote' and 'and place my signature' is 'below my reply (above the quote)'. Can't say why that case is different.
