Can you help please. Have had Thunderbird for 9 months, works great with many features not on my previous system (Windows Live Mail). I have inadvertently changed something in the settings. When I open an inbox email, the header panel now shows not just the basics (From, Subject, To, and Date) as before, but a lot of extra background stuff in code, starting with Message ID, User agent, Return-Path. . . and so on with up to around 20 more lines all in tech code. Can someone pse tell me how to restore settings to just the four basics. Many thanks, Edward.

from https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1330137 "Re. my question posted half hour ago, the extra information in the email headers appears not only in incoming emails but in all emails (including those I've just sent and ones already stored)."
