delete virtual saves searches in Thunderbird

ubuntu 21.10. mate 1.26.0 Thunderbird 91.3.1 64 bit

I accidentally created a saved search on my "sent" folder. I've spent hours searching for how to removed this saved search and get my "sent" folder back. I give up. Please help

it's a virtual folder, just delete the virtual folder.

How do I do that? Please give me at least a hint. I spent several hours googling so the solution is not apparant Thanks, John

I should add that "delete folder" is greyed out under edit. my problem is NOT solved! John
