I personally use many extensions so that I have more protection.

Support.mozilla.org uses amazon as their certificate authority. This does not mean that you are being spied on by Amazon. Most likely this verification process is being done on your machine.

Sobre ciertas dificultades de Firefox (en Android) para atender los certificados instalados en el Almacenamiento del Sistema ya dejé otro mensaje escrito aquí en el Support. Si pudieras leerlo y ofrecerme alguna orientación al respecto te quedaría bien agradecido. En este caso, se trata simplemente de que no sé cómo hacer llegar al conocimiento de los desarrolladores de Firefox ése problema que aún permanece en la renovada versión del Browser.
