Right-Click Select All disappeared in later versions of Firefox
I've been using Firefox 78ESR for Mac for quite some time, but finally decided to upgrade to stable release Firefox 99. What I discovered is that when I'm on a webpage and right-click and click on "select all" to copy all of the text, the text does not get copied. I have found this on websites and especially in blogger. I'm wondering if there's some setting I'm not aware of, or if Mozilla just completely did away with that ability.

Steps to replicate would help.
Does the text get selected? It does on my (Linux) Firefox but I haven't tried to copy the selected text.
If this problem is only on some pages, it could be intentional: pages can use certain style rules and certain script commands to block selection and/or copying (to protect their content).
Setting those pages aside, you also could try the keyboard shortcuts:
To Select All, either:
- right-click > Select All
- Command+A
Then you can copy the selection using either:
- right-click > Copy
- Command+C
At least, that's how it's supposed to work.

No, that's the problem. When I right-click and choose SELECT ALL, the text does not get selected. About all I can do is delete it. In the past, the text would be selected and I could paste new text over it. It's not a big deal, but I was curious as to whether Mozilla just did away with that ability.
