Arrowheads appear to the left of folders, make them undeletable

As shown in the attached screen capture, recently these subfolders of "sent" have appeared to the left of the folder. They make the folders undeleteable. How do I get rid of them? I want to delete "sent" and create a fresh new "sent" folder.

We can close this one out. it was a bug in Thunderbird. Yesterday I forced the upgrade of Ubuntu Mate 22.04 LTS. Thunderbird in this release read the old and new "Sent" files just fine.
