I recently had Windows 10 reinstalled, saved Thunderbird Profiles, reinstalled Thunderbird, thought I had replaced the Profiles correctly, Thunderbird won't start and says it can't find Profiles. WHat have I done wrong and how can I fix it?
I had a WIndows 10 reinstall, had copied Thunderbird Profiles, reinstalled Thunderbird 91, added copied Profiles for the Local Folders. Now Thunderbird won't start and says it can't find Profiles at all. What have I done wrong and how can I fix it?

Thunderbird is reading profiles.ini, which is pointing to what should be a profile, but it is not. My guess is, in restoring your profiles, you overwrote the default profile with your own. I suggest clicking Windows key and R key and then, in the next window enter thunderbird.exe -p to bring up the profile manager, click 'create profile', then next, then enter a name, e.g., MYPROFILE, and then click the browse button to locate your profile.
