Password recovery from Thunderbird
Hi! The problem is that I lost my password to Gmail account. I'm only able to get access to it via Thunderbird since it nicely stores the passwords. Earlier I used to recover passwords simply by asking Thunderbird to show me my password. But now I see something encoded there and it completely doesn't look like my password. Probably thats because Gmail migrated to Oauth2 authorization and Thunderbird made its adjustments accordingly. Is there still any possibility to recover my original password from Thunderbird. I'm afraid of uncertain experiments because I can completely loose that account which is very old and valuable to me. I've tryed to recover my password via google but it doesn't work since I hadn't provided any additional recovery information to Gmail. My bad. Thank you!

Thunderbird only keeps the appropriate information to log in. For your account, that would be the Oauth authorization code provided by gmail.
Thank you for your reply! But is there any way to restore my original password? Because some time earlier, when Gmail wasn't using Oauth2 it was possible to see my original password in Thunderbird.
That would only be if you have backups of prior profiles.
