How to enable full logging of all IMAP within Thunderbird, not downloading messages

more options

For several months have not been able to send messages within Thunderbird.

As of today it isn't even downloading existing messages on the IMAP servers.

Searched online but would like to know what is the best way to enable full logging in Thunderbird to try to track down the problem with IMAP.

I would delete all the accounts and set them all up again to try to fix this but it takes a LONG time to download all the messages which I still prefer doing. Maybe I need to just give up on that and figure that there will be frequent need to clear out the accounts and set them all up again in order to use within Thunderbird.

Matt previously pointed me to enabling logging and it appears that mailnews.imap.loglevel = All is what is needed.

Left Thunderbird open overnight and by morning it had downloaded messages. So not sure what is going on with that. Still can't send messages but it is downloading existing messages.
