Recover lost Onetab data
Hello. I was having issues with my open tabs in FF crashing in the past 24 hours. I had to restart FF this morning to get the problem to stop.
To my dismay, it appears that all of my Onetab data saved over the past year was wiped out in the process. I'm a writer, and I save these links for article research, and would like to recover as many as possible.
Any assistance would be appreciated! I use Idrive for backup, and would need to know the directory pathway if they were to help me to recover this data (if that's even possible).
Thanks in advance! Claudia

Hi
This sounds more like a problem that session restore didn't restore that last session on the next start. Did you check whether "History -> Restore Previous Session" and "History -> Recently Closed Windows/Tabs" could reopen this window ?
Note that OneTab has the feature to export and import its settings and you should use this feature.

Hi, thank you for your reply!
I previously tried the session restore steps that you recommended, which resulted in the loss of recent open tabs (which was not a big deal).
I'm mostly distressed about losing all of my Onetab data, a year's worth of URLs used in writing research, which were wiped out. I followed the tips in the article about profiles and only one profile (the default) shows.
I saw that the Onetab URLs can be exported, which I only found out after it was too late, unfortunately. :)
I do use Idrive for continuous backup, but have no idea what directory info to look for to restore this data specifically, if that was even possible.
Extension store their data in indexedDB (storage/default) using the UUID as saved in extensions.webextensions.uuids in prefs.js.
Primary location used for the main profile that keeps your personal data (Root Directory on about:profiles).
- ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data
In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the "~/Library" folder in the Home directory is a hidden folder.
